The Kai 7240AS serrated-edge scissors are part of the 7000 series that feature Vanadium stainless steel for extra-long edge life and high cutting efficiency. The addition of carbon allows for a steeper cutting angle, giving the scissor a finer, sharper, and longer lasting edge. The use of carbon and stainless steel makes this high-quality scissor ideal for light satin to industrial fabrics like Aramid. Aramid fabrics such as Kevlar, Nomex, Carbon-Fiber, Dyneema, Spectra, Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, and Fire Resistant Fabrics are easily cut.
